Constant Voltage Transformer(CVT)
CVT is Ferro-resonant type Automatic AC Voltage Regulator. It comprises two basic components ie a Ferro-Resonant Transformer and a Capacitor Bank. A2Z CVT provides instantaneous voltage regulation and supress the mains spikes, surges, sags and fluctuations. CVT offers high isolation between input and output with inherent overload/short circuit protections. CVT’s are useful for computers. Microprocessors based systems and electronic equipments.
